Rude service nowhere
My wife and I just stayed at Hotel Lenox for a few days and we really had a pleasant stay. The Hotel has that nice, vintage feel. As for the staff, they could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The neighborhood is decent -- Walgreens next door and restaurants nearby -- but we enjoyed walks in the area, too. We'd definitely stay again! Thank you!
This hotel is thoroughly charming. The customer service was great, staff were great and flexible. It is not for those who want modern fixtures, or a simple box built in the last 10 years. Things creak and bump. It has however been operating since 1896. EIGHTEEN NINETY FREAKING SIX. F Scott Fitzgerald lived here as a child for a few years. It is awash in local history and just…charm. The neighborhood is worth a visit alone. Lots of stuff is walkable and well worth taking in. Great place will return.
I stayed at the Lenox Hotel Buffalo after the Bills game. I had been looking for a reasonable hotel in the downtown area because I take a bus to come to Buffalo from Canada, and the hotel has to be close to the bus terminal. I've heard that this hotel has a long history, which I liked. My room was on the 8th floor and had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, a huge window, a big bed, and a cute bathroom. I’ve lived here almost 6 years and love it! It’s mostly apartments with some hotel rooms — the weather was a disaster today and my toilet still got fixed — very friendly staff and very friendly neighbors most of whom have been around years as well which is just telling to how great an environment it is, I’d highly recommend staying here as a hotel guest or moving in as a resident
