We got a ac unit installed in April by october it was dead. Bad coil was told the part wouldn't arrive till Feb or March. Installer (from a different hvac company) advised a unit sitting like ours for long is not good and will just make for continued issues as it is fully exposed to all elements and with no freon. Lennox also said they won't cover labor or freon which will leave us with a $3500 on a unit we paid $400 to get (home warranty). Home warranty can't do much as it is still in manufacturing warranty.
