Sadly, the construction manager for Fort Myers Lennar is dishonest. He will constantly tell you one thing and then deny it later. If any other workers damage something in the house, you are responsible to go after whatever company Lennar hired. The construction manager would tell you Lennar is not responsible. Poor quality. I recommend staying away in this building company.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Realstar Homes. From the very beginning stages of the home building process to the very end everything was great. We first met with Heidi Black. She consulted with us and helped us pick out a home that met our needs and add any upgrades we wanted that fit our budget. They have very poor workmanship, and their customer service is useless, they will dismiss major issues with the home as "normal", or minor or simply as things they have no intension to fix. I'm talking about a brand new home with foundation issues and AC issues. I had to fight tooth and nail with them about the AC dumping water all over the decking in the attic and that was prior to closing on the house. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. Here's the list: 1. They pressure you to use their in-house lenders, impose ridiculous fees when using your own, use scare tactics to sway customers into their financing. 2. Their in-house title company is equally as terrible, no communication, ignored customer and realtor emails, screened phone calls (quite literally heard our closer in the background scoff and ask to say they were busy), delayed closing BY DAYS, bad attitude from staff.
