Our experience with Lennar started off great. Before they had our deposit, communication was easy and the sales team was extremely responsive. Unfortunately, everything changed after we viewed the actual home and raised concerns about the condition of the property. These homes may look nice, but don’t be fooled. The biggest issue is the nonstop cockroach and ant infestation, and the HOA does absolutely nothing to cover or properly address it. Residents who moved in are exhausted and frustrated because no matter how many products you buy or treatments you try, the problem keeps coming back. Paying so much to live somewhere and constantly dealing with bugs inside and outside your home is unacceptable and beyond annoying. Not the best quality vs price you pay. I’m glad I skipped buying here.
We had a horrible experience here. We got into contract in January for a home that will be completed in June. At the end of January my husband was injured and needed surgery. Because of his recovery time, he is not able to fully return to work for several months from now and his pay will be affected. This has created a financial hardship for our family and it is no longer wise for us to purchase a home at this time. We explained all this and more to Lennar and they refuse to give us back our earnest money deposit of $10,000.... read more
I do not recommend Lennar. They are the worst of the worst. With really bad sales tactics. They lie, cheat and steal just to get the deal done. Once it is done, and the house is in your name, they no longer care. My brand new hvac system stopped working in my my brand new house. No heat. House was 60 degrees. I have a child who is cold. Lennar walks in, says "feels pretty warm to me." I showed them the thermostat history, showing it being a constant 60 degrees and thermostat calling for heat. They shrugged it off.
