I have a buyer/client moving from Ventura County to Surprise for business. After looking at many areas and styles of homes she centered on the "Gen Style" Home offered with Lennar. Instead of a 2 story, it is a home with a guest/granny flat "tandem style" right next door with a shared garage. The granny flat comes as a one bedroom studio for "multi Generational housing!" Absolutely genius idea for a floor plan from Lennar.
The price of these homes are definitely not worth it. My advice as I now own a Lennar home, STAY AWAY from them!! We noted items to be fixed on our walkthrough prior to closing on our home in Zanjero Trails in Surprise, AZ. Those items were not addressed and was told by our construction manager that if we wanted an on time close, we could push them to our 30 day TLC inspection. So we did.
