PSA, Lennar thinks connecting the brass from your water heater to galvanized fittings and rusting after 1 year is completely fine and standard. Also, plumbing in the wall is covered for 2 years, but because this isn't in the wall then we are only covered for 1 year. We had a plumber come out from Linn-Benton Plumbing and they said the brass into galvanized fittings will cause rust. A basic Google search will also tell you the same. They use birchfield for heating and cooling so that is one huge reason not to buy one of there homes.
