My grandmother was admitted on Monday the 31 of September. She was rushed through emergency. She waited 11 hours in casualty just to get a room . She was placed in highcare icu and despite being so sick no help was giving. On Tuesday night she was not given supper and on Wednesday morning breakfast wasn't given to her. I'm very disappointed with the way Trauma unit does things. Yesterday my husband and I arrived to the hospital around past 2. He was very sick. They checked his vitals, I opened a file for him then we waited. He was only then seen by the Dr around 7pm. How can a Trauma unit only have one Dr?? When we wanted to leave, some other nurse told us we can't because our medical aid has already authorized the visit.
