I rescued my best friend from here a little over a month ago. The staff were all so friendly & the adoption process was a breeze. They all genuinely care about the pets & it shows ❤️

Without them, I wouldn’t have my precious dog, Koda. I love everything about her and they treated me so well when I came and adopted her! I even took her back and everyone was soooo excited to see her again! I definitely love what they are doing! I would highly recommend going and adopting! They treat their animals with great care!
I adopted Princess, was cream puff from LHS, my daughter and I visited the shelter weekly for about a month the animals were always well taken care of, their pens were clean I was not sure of what to expect, but they sure exceeded my expectations. The adoption process was so easy went smoothly. Princess is the sweetest dog she is a complete cuddle bug and I am so blessed to have her as my fur baby.
I like the people at the facility. they all seem to have a genuine love for the precious furbabies there. I appreciated that so much and on January 2nd 2020 when I had the horrible decision to put my own sweet furbaby Chance to sleep my lil Yorkie was my world for 10 years. the people at the shelter were so kind and understanding towards me. I appreciated that so much 💕 ty for being there for these precious babies that come into our lives! they rescue us as much as we rescue them! ty you lenawee humane society!💖😊💖😊💖😊
