The Lenawee County Health Department condemning Amish homes and threatening to demolish them in an attempt to force the Amish to cater to your way of life in complete disregard for their right to live according to their religious beliefs is utterly abominable. Please cite specific incidents of disease outbreak or contamination of natural resources as a result of Amish hygiene and sanitary practices? Please give dates and locations. Otherwise, discontinue your abusive persecution of these people. They aren't bothering anyone.
We recently lost our healthcare due to my husband retiring from the Navy. I took my 4 year old in for immunizations. The staff was wonderful, and the immunizations were free due to a community grant. Thank you LCH for all that you do for our community.
