Used as primary care doctor. Extremely dissatisfied to have my appointment cancelled for no reason right before a follow up and for them to say they were out of that business. When I asked for a referral they said they weren’t doing that. Very poor care of your patients. Shame on you. With such a good orthopedic reputation, you certainly showed a lack of due care.
Me: "Hi, I'd like to find out when my appt with the primary care Dr is." Them: "We haven't had primary care since December." Me: "Would have been nice to know." Them: "They were supposed to notify you. Do you want to number to the company that has your records?" Me: "Can you write the prescription?" Then: "I think one of the urgent care places will." Just Answer The Phone .......
My husband went to the Alabaster office (an hour away) today for a visit after playing phone tag with the front desk people. Finally after dealing with people "not knowing" how to help my husband set up an appointment to get clearance for a shoulder injury that happened years back, they tell him to come in.. Long story short, my husband drove an hour to have them say they scheduled a regular physical instead of just having his shoulder looked at, and they did NOTHING for him. Well I go see the Dr. The usual try this if it's not better by your return appointment I will make an appointment with another. Well in the meantime they call and change my appointment time which made me have to cancel. So I ask well if all he was gonna do is make me an appointment if it wasn't better can he just do that for me and I'll save a 65.00 copay.
