Orthopedic problems are rarely life threatening, so urgent surgical treatment isn't necessary for most things except infections and certain fractures or dislocations. I was leaving for Mexico for my son’s wedding and my knee became very swollen. Dr got me in immediately. He withdrew the fluid and gave me a cortisone injection. He was extremely polite and explained every step with me! One month later I ended up having swelling in my lower extremity of the same leg and he called me immediately and advised me what to do! Highly recommend
