Dr Stoddard's name has escaped me until today. He worked on my ruptured disc 30 years ago and was awesome. Never had to do surgery and he darn well could have. I just wanted to put this out there as I know he's retired. Congrats on that Doc!!
My 11 year old came in with a broken leg and improperly applied cast that cut her leg--not his fault. Dr. Stoddard cuts the cast off and holds my daughter's leg in his hand as the cut is bleeding and she is crying out in pain. I ask him to be gentle as she was only 11 and he muttered something like, "She'll be okay." His bedside manner is lacking. Maybe he reserves his best for others, but we did not see it. The follow-up appointments we with Laika (not sure if that is spelled correctly). She is amazing and gentle.
