I was just looking for a new doctor for my father. This doctor and his medical assistant only and I mean ONLY help certain people. Their was a caucasian woman waiting to see him singing his praises but so drunk off her pain medication she was slurring every word. The medical assistant said the doctor wouldn't help my father his hip is bone on bone. This doctor is a disgrace and his assistant is worse. I was very disappointed in this doctor. He was so ugly and disrespectful to me. I got up and walked out of the appointment. I will never be back to OrthoSouth or recommend it to anyone.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Berkwits. The first time he kinda scared me at the crosstown campus (because he was new to the practice I'm assuming). So I wasn't sure what to expect upon my second appointment since they moved from crosstown to the main Orthosouth campus. My mind was blown. Dr. Berkwits and his staff made all my fears go away the instant I walked in the door. Dr. Berkwits is kind, compassionate, listens, and has an extremely gentle "Bedside Manner". Everyone is really nice. Dr Berkwits answered all my questions. My experience was very good.
