She created more trauma without investigating the patient. When you are in mental health and dealing with real human beings who are shattered and suffering, stopping their treatment half way through is unethical. Dr. Venugopal is exactly that.
Dr. Venugopal is the worst psychiatrist ever, she told me I need someone to call me out on my bs , very unprofessional and rude , and invasive. She gets distracted about what I’m actually there for and starts talking about other stuff and calling in her stupid nurses to drug test me. Never go to this psychiatrist she will make you feel like trash , I hope she gets fired
I would wait for incredibly long periods of time and she was late to every appointment but one that I had with her. Horrible logic behind prescriptions, and kept prescribing me medications that I informed her would make me sick, yet insisted they were the right choice. Worst psychiatrist I have ever been to.
Dr. V has given me back a part of my life I never thought could exist again. She is very honest and caring at the same time. I felt comfortable and confident with her from the 1st appointment. Dr. V is very dedicated to her patients and truly cares and wants the best for them. Dr. V goes above and beyond in many situations. Dr. V is what you want in a doctor, especially a psychiatrist. Dr. V has done so much for me and my family. She is just awesome!!!!
Dr. V as her patients call her, to me is an ideal psychiatrist. She is at once compassionate and caring while (when needed) realistic and tough, but in a good way. She does not over medicate, but rather works with you to determine the right medications and dosages. In short she saved my life after a long history of depression and anxiety.
I've been her patient for over 5 years. She has helped me with stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD and grief over these years. She is patient, professional, warm and welcomes all my questions and concerns. She is very easy to talk to and, even if the subject is difficult for me, never rushes me as I sometimes struggle with my thoughts and emotions. I have the highest regard for her as it is apparent she always listens to me, remembers our conversations and guides me through difficult issues.
