My father went to Dr Ahmed. She was out for his routine visit so he had to see the NP. My father was treated with absolutely no respect as a human by this person and treated as though he was incompetent. As a healthcare worker myself I find how he was treated appalling and recommended to him to change physicians.
Nicole Foster is the APRN during Dr. Ware's absence. I had a visit with Ms. Foster which went very well. However, she asked me why my wife went to the MaxHealth in Bradenton when this office is closer to our house. Unfortunately, my wife could not schedule an appointment with the Ellenton office. The phone rang and rang, and when she was able to leave a message, no one returned her call. I am surprised I was able to obtain an appointment. Scheduling is difficult.
After waiting for 2 1/2 hrs in a small cold room, she came in and said how are you? I said awful, I am cold, hungry, tired, my back hurts and I want to cry! I have been here waiting for you in this room for almost three hours, I don’t mean to be difficult, but this is not good. She said I was a difficult patient, this is not the first time you have complained, you think I should spend all my time with you and not anyone else, you complain a lot!! My experience was great. Dr Angelastro is not only knowledgeable and professional, he is an effective communicator. He goes out of his way to make a patient feel at ease and explains things in a way that is thorough and easy to understand. It is very refreshing.
My wife and I liked Dr Levia. We were very unhappy getting test results from her office staff.
DR. Ahmed's deliberate lack of follow-up on critical medical issues is only superseded by her arrogance‘! Her office staff is grossly inefficient – – – making an appointment takes four or five telephone attempts and messages left by us went invariably unreturned ! After being admitted to hospital Dr. Solanki-Singh's detective work diagnosed my issue as being caused by blood-clots in my leg and lungs. Other attending doctors later pointed out to me how impressed they were Dr. Solanki-Singh's work. Thank you Dr. Solanki-Singh!
I love her a wonderful doctor, however getting through to her staff to help you is a serious problem . They lie to you just to get you off the phone . It is the worst front office I have ever dealt with in a medical environment. If you can see the doctor and what that means is they won’t even give you an appointment.
