As someone whom worked in the medical field (in Peds) and a mom with a newborn, I am very happy with Dr. Balagot as my daughter's peditrician. Dr. Balagot is very proffesional and takes her time to be very thorough with information during our visits. I had concerns and they were assessed, furthermore, tests were ordered to ensure the care plan discussed was the best. Our first visit with Dr. Balagot was promising—she seemed attentive and supportive to us as first-time parents. Unfortunately, that changed quickly. Subsequent visits felt rushed and dismissive, with little effort to address questions or provide meaningful guidance. These milestone appointments are too important to feel like box-checking exercises. While most of the nursing staff have been kind, one was unprofessional and spoke rudely during our last visit. Best pediatrician doctor ever. I’ve been with her since my son was born and he is now 14 years old. Along the way I had two more children that she takes awesome care of. We’ve followed her from two different locations within these 14 years and 9 months and 11 days and if she relocates again we will follow her once more. I travel from NYC just to continue having her as my children physician. She is very knowledgeable and caring and my children always have a pleasant and quick visit.
