About this business

Our trees tell a story. The founders of Legendary Trees had a simple plan: to remind people of the foundations and principles that have shaped history for centuries. Many of the source trees are hundreds of years old and have witnessed meetings where decisions were made that altered the course of history on local and national levels. Here, acorns of historically significant trees are planted, germinated and nurtured. For over 40 years we have shared a passion for ranching, farming and wildlife conservation, as well as famili... read more

My wife and I are building a home in the Texas Hill Country. We were looking for a way to add a bit of Texas history to our land and after doing some research, found Legendary Trees. We love the story of the Austin Treaty Oak and found the perfect sapling to plant on our land. The team was kind enough to deliver ours on the same day they were dedicating another Treaty Oak sapling to the Dripping Springs distillery of the same name, Treaty Oak Distilling. They were friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about sha... read more

Bought one of the Goodnight-Loving Pecan saplings and planted it on December 20, 2018 on our place in Aubrey. Can’t wait to see it come alive this spring!

Had my Traders Oak about a year now. What a great gift idea. I planted it on my ranch west of Fort Worth and it's doing real good. Being a life long resident of Fort Worth and knowing that I'm growing a live oak from the Fort's original trading post has been so cool. Preserving Texas history and the personal satisfaction that it brings make a great combo!

I bought a Century Tree from them (from an acorn from the tree where my wife and I got engaged). Their service was fantastic. The tree is in great shape. They gave me directions on how to make sure it is successful. Great Texans in which to do business. ML
