Be aware- this building has recently gotten bed bugs and they are still "treating the problem" 9 months later (started in Oct '23 until now - they will never go away). They are not proactive about treating the problem and do not warn all of their tenants about the issues. Overall- this building is awful, it is so old and they only put band aides over any issues with the building, which makes things worse in the long run. they replaced the parking garage ceiling, but have expired smoke alarms in the hallways. Insane cockroach infestation. I complained often. Dusting the cracks on the walls/ floors and setting sticky traps don’t do anything, there needs to be a deep deep fumigation to even get close to getting rid of these guys. I lived here for over a year and saw over 50 massive roaches throughout the whole building. Location was amazing. Would have loved to stay there but had to get out of there ASAP for that was no way to live.
3957 Irving park is a slum. Cockroach infestation, windows need to be redone because you can hear the traffic outside constantly. The ceilings have water damage. It always smells bad in the hallways. They never replace fire alarm batteries in the building so when you’re trying to sleep you’ll hear constant chirping (mines not beeping I think it’s in the hallways of the building) This is a building inspectors worst nightmare and probably the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. Their building located in 3957 Irving Park is infested with cockroaches and they refuse to do anything about it. They only brought this so-called exterminator who came to spray only select apartments that had complained. I called management and they gave me an attitude like “then what do you suggest?” Like it was MY job to look for a solution. There are terrible in all kinds of ways.
