Pretty good haircut and AB is very nice, but afterwards I was hit with a ridiculous price ($105 for a 20 min haircut).
I’ve been coming here for 3 years. But won’t be returning after my most recent visit. I thought AB had made a mistake at the register when $104.95 popped on the screen for a 20-minute men’s haircut. Even worse, he then tried gaslighting me, saying that I’m the only one who’s even mentioned the price as being expensive and that this is what haircuts everywhere else cost. Good haircut, absolutely terrible price. This place looks like any ordinary barbershop and AB is nice and good at his job but I found out at the register my haircut was going to cost $104 (~$130 with tip). Prices are not advertised anywhere except in small font by the register at the back of the store. I did not think to ask beforehand because it looks like a regular barbershop where you would pay ~$30-35 for a regular haircut. I have never and will never pay this much for a haircut again.
This guy is a scam artist. I just got a bad haircut I didn’t ask for…and for it to be $105. I guess it’s my fault for not asking but this is absolutely crazy. And I had asked to keep it long on the top even pointed out a picture on the wall and now I am out $100 and regretting getting my first haircut in 6 months I went to the website after and there are no prices listed and multiple other bad reviews regarding this.
AB is one of the best and most professional barbers in Ann Arbor. He takes care of each client with passion and care. I highly recommend this barber. Very nicely done AB! Truly one of the best barbers around.
