We have been coming to the Legacy Resort Hilltop, Steamboat Springs, Co for over 13 years. When we first came it was a nice place but in recent years we've noticed a considerable decline in the facility. We rented a two bedroom suite and the first thing we noticed was the carpet was very worn and there were bleach streaks on the master bedroom carpet. See pictures. no hot shower, no shampoo/soap, no heating, super late check in, not cleaned/wiped, dirty, broken walls/trims/doors/wall power, no ice. This place is heavily run down, don't recommend spending your vacation. $200 a night was heavily over priced. A motel closer to the town was far cheaper. never again for me.

A $$30 early check-in fee required, even though the room was ready, but you don’t get the $30 back if you check out early two hours You could not get a paper receipt only email All carpets were very disgustingly,dirty and need to be removed hallway and rooms The kitchen supplies were too limited and pans need to be replaced. No shampoo was supplied. Workers said they didn’t have any. There was no shampoo or soap in the shower dispensers. Sooo ugh! We were really excited for this but we ended up paying 500 dollars for 3 nights and I feel a bit ripped off. This hotel is more like a motel 6 or a super 8 becuase of how out dated it was. The carpets do stink...and are soiled and really need to be replaced I can tell the sprinkled the glade carpet refresher on the carpets cause I used to use it to freshen the smell.
