Every single nurse was responsive and treated me like family. My surgeon, Dr. Havel, explained everything to me in great detail and emanated warmth and compassion. The same was true for the gynecologist I was treated by, Dr. Nguyen. I was seriously amazed at how much time these busy people were willing to graciously spend answering my questions and just being so kind and warm. I am so grateful that this where I ended up, couldn’t imagine getting better care!

I came here for back and rib pain that was pretty bad I left after 2 hours of being alone in a room waiting and crying from the pain I noticed if I’m alone because I’m 17 a lot of doctors are rude and disrespectful and of course they treated me badly and like I was some dumb teen I also came to get tested for anything and she laughed and scoffed when I said that’s all the testing I wanted because I wasn’t gonna wait another 3 hours in a room alone while listening to her and her co workers gossip about other patients as they ... read more

Aug 30, 2025 at 11pm we took our dad in because he was not feeling well after his total knee replacement on Aug 26. The Noc nurse was very nice, gentle, communicative, and sympathetic, along with the Charge Nurse and his team. You know the usual do all questioning, blood work, and the imaging. Kimberly Brook and David Alexander were the CT techs. Kimberly was told before hand to be careful with his knee because he was VERY painful. When dad came back he was fuming. I went in to this ER after my PCP stated I needed to be seen urgently for a possible twisted cyst in my right ovary. Dr. Kimberly Avery ordered an ultrasound, which was done, and then the nurse attempted to discharge me without any information. I requested to speak with the doctor so I knew what was going on. Dr. Avery then came in and told me they found nothing on my ultrasound, so I could go home. I want to start by saying that I’ve lived in this community my entire life and, until recently, I’ve always spoken highly of Silverton Hospital. Unfortunately, over the past four years, we've noticed a significant decline in the quality of care, and our most recent experience has made it clear to us that something has changed for the worse.
