This is not about myself. My sister was brought in for Stomach pain. She was admitted due to a bowel blockage. Standard protocol is an NG tube which they were unable to do because of a prior surgery. If anybody knows, a bowel obstruction Will become critical if not addressed quickly. They were "Waiting " for a bed to be available at OHSU. Within a few days her bowels ruptured.
