I, a LGBTQ person, felt very welcome and taken care of here. I was disappointed to hear that my primary care doctor was leaving only months after my first appointment, but the nurse went out of her way to set me up with a different doctor at another clinic who I'm told is also very LGBTQ friendly and explained other resources available to me. They’re not properly equipped for pediatric care despite claiming family medicine. I would not recommend bringing your baby or toddler here.
In mid-January, I scheduled an appointment to meet with a new PCP at Legacy Cornell. Due to availability, they could not get me scheduled until mid-August. Imagine my frustration when they called me last week to cancel my appointment, after already waiting five of the seven months to be seen. A real organization would help you reschedule or find other available practicioners in their organization who could see me as a new patient. Healthcare in America is deeply unserious.
I’ve had a concussion for about two months now I’ve been trying to get in contact with the concussion specialist here, but they don’t ever answer their phone. They don’t know how to answer their voicemails and in person they refuse service. I had a completely different office reach out to set up this appointment And they could barely get it set up. I would not recommend coming here if you need help for a concussion right away.
