Legacy Funeral Home was the bright light during a dark hour for me recently. I live in Georgia and my family member who passed unexpectedly lived in Alaska. I had no possible way to travel to Alaska to handle internment details. I was at a loss and felt desperate. The funeral director, Josh, listened to my situation and helped me by phone make all the necessary arrangement with minimal stress. I was amazed. Thank you Josh, you will forever be in my memory of the person who was there to help.

Their process for anything is very slow. They don’t even call back or call for anything. I had to call and show up so many times to get an initial apt with them all the way through receiving the death certificate. It’s been 2 months since my mom passed and I haven’t received her death certificate or any of the life insurance money after funeral costs. Our son died on Halloween and they took 2 months to get the doctor signature on the death certificate. I called them 5 times left messages which were mostly ignored. I will tell everyone I know to not make the mistake I made and use this company.

I no longer work for this company because I recently moved, however I worked for this company for 8 years and the family oriented staff made this business feel externally welcoming. The funeral directors (Dedra and Eric) will go above and beyond to exceed all expectations. I love this company and if I ever move back I’d love to work for them again!
