Don't recommend at all, we just wanted my father cremated and ashes sent home. Had this big meeting about what goes on the certificate and it's like we never had that discussion or the paper that was signed ever existed that had all that information. They had to make 4 different revisions to his death certificate before it was done right. Messed up the spelling of his name, his race, his social and his tribe. Ended up taking an extra month to get his death certificate in. So if you need that in a hurry don't use this funeral... read more

These people do NOT care about you. They are the most awful business I’ve ever seen. My mother in law passed away in November of last year. It is now July and we just now received the death certificate. We were not notified for 2 weeks that she had passed and the worker didn’t care about us. He didn’t return phone calls, didn’t give information, had to be called over and over and over to get her body sent to our village snd never bothered to notify us when she was coming. Legacy Funeral Home – Wasilla Heritage Chapel was incredibly kind, compassionate, and accommodating during a very difficult time for our family, after the unexpected loss of my brother; Dylan. By far, the worst experience I’ve had with any business! First off, the funeral director called to coordinate plans with our family and didn’t have any information aside from the very expensive packages they try to sell everyone without even asking what you want first and foremost. We told them all that was unnecessary as we only need x, y, z. They try to pitch you the packages again after you repeatedly tell them that’s not what you WANT or NEED!
