By far, the worst experience I’ve had with any business! First off, the funeral director called to coordinate plans with our family and didn’t have any information aside from the very expensive packages they try to sell everyone without even asking what you want first and foremost. We told them all that was unnecessary as we only need x, y, z. They try to pitch you the packages again after you repeatedly tell them that’s not what you WANT or NEED! Legacy Funeral Home was the bright light during a dark hour for me recently. I live in Georgia and my family member who passed unexpectedly lived in Alaska. I had no possible way to travel to Alaska to handle internment details. I was at a loss and felt desperate. The funeral director, Josh, listened to my situation and helped me by phone make all the necessary arrangement with minimal stress. I was amazed. Thank you Josh, you will forever be in my memory of the person who was there to help.

Their process for anything is very slow. They don’t even call back or call for anything. I had to call and show up so many times to get an initial apt with them all the way through receiving the death certificate. It’s been 2 months since my mom passed and I haven’t received her death certificate or any of the life insurance money after funeral costs. All they needed from me was my grandmas maiden name and never once had the decency to call me to let me know that’s all they needed for the dea to certificate to process. I cal... read more
