Blatant Discrimination. They refused to do an fMRI because I had anodized aluminum beads in my hair (medically safe), but the more than 14 piercings in my face were not considered a problem.
The place is chaotic and the person at the front desk is really rude. It’s very unclear what you’re supposed to do when you’re checking in for surgery and the people are not helpful.
Great hospital!
I was admitted with a hemiplegic migraine and when I was discharged from the hospital I was still suffering from the migraine. I had to go to Kaiser to get the treatment I needed to relieve my migraine. Very poor service
The Pre Op nurse, Anesthesiologist, and Child Life Specialist ALL asked us to say in our own words what surgery we were having done. We told all 3 precisely why we were there and NOBODY said, "that's not what my records are showing." The surgeon performed a completely different surgery than the one we prepared for with the help of multiple other professionals.
