They saved my life after a major GI bleed. The staff were all very good, supportive and kind. There were a four of nurses (Ian, Molly, Mich and Marie), plus a CNA (Mohamad) who went above and beyond and deserve exceptional ratings. The building is older, but everything was spotless and every effort was made to help me feel safe and co.fortable, despite being too far from home to have family present.
While staying at a hotel nearby I fell out of the shower and hit my head on the toilet. I was in quite a bit of pain and could feel a knot developing on the back of my head. We were visiting Portland and this was the closest hospital. My husband drove me to the emergency room and the staff there were professional and caring. I was in good hands.
I came in through the ER with severe pain from a what I learned was a gallstone attack. The nurse, Kelly, took really good care of me and listened to me. I forgot my ER drs name sadly but she helped me get on pain meds right away and into diagnostic to find out i had a HUGE stone in my gallbladder, which no one had clocked for YEARS. I had to get surgery and the staff from transport, pre surgery, the surgery staff, my surgeon and the nurses who cared for me afterwards were all so compassionate and kind. I'm fortunate that at my age, 66, that I've never been hospitalized before. That said, I don't know if it is just this one or not but I had an unexpected stay in the Emergency room for 3 days. The care, devotion, compassion and understanding are superior. From check in to discharge I couldn't have felt any more support that what I was given by the Legacy group.
