I go here for my routine mammogram’s, check-in has always been quick, they haven’t made me wait after getting there and the technician’s have been kind.
Mammogram process: quick, pain-free. Staff: comforting. Billing process: the worst. Fees seem reasonable, but it takes months to find out what you actually owe. Hope that improves.
Actually no stars, I have a two good insurances, one through my corporation, and a secondary through my husband’s union. I started getting harassing text messages and letters from Pacific Imaging saying I owed money. After speaking to my primary insurance they informed me that Legacy Breast Health Center - a department of Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center outsources their mammography, and it’s billed separately. Ask for Valium and take ibuprofen with it prior if you’re getting a biopsy. It’s unsettling that medical staff act like we women should be alert and sober to be clamped into a machine in a cold room, face down and stabbed in the breasts with needles. As if possibly having breast cancer isn’t scary enough? However, I did really like the staff here. They are great. Noting, they said not to take ibuprofen prior but then my doctor confirmed that there is zero evidence that ibuprofen causes more bleeding. So I took it before my a... read more
