I recently toured. I've visited many communities in my search for a place for my mom. I want to like this community but the food choices are so so few and so poor that I'm afraid it would be an issue. Breakfast is the same thing every single day (choice of meat, eggs, cereal). Just 5 days straight of this and I would be sick of it. I cant imagine having the same for the rest of my life. So many items on the lunch and dinner menu are fried, fatty or low quality. I cannot say enough good things about The Legacy. My family’s experience with this facility had been nothing but positive. It’s such an emotional decision to move a loved one to assisted living. The kindness and professionalism of the staff made the process as easy as it could possibly be. My dad’s dementia makes transitions hard for him. We highly recommend the personalized individual help and support provided by the Legacy in a transition to facility assisted living . All staff helpful , professional and team oriented in helping with everything . They are not all talk but action oriented , kind and thoughtful . The setting and life style matches the needs of my 95 y/o mother in law . She loves her new place and they helped her so much to adjust to her losses . She back on track and 150% improved function .
