I was not impressed for a place that has been in business for years. I tried my hardest to enjoy Lefty's but the only thing I could say was great was our server and the clam chowder. I ordered the pan-fried lobster and shrimp, which I recieved 2 jumpo shrimp and half a lobster tail that was cut into 2 pieces on my plate with the baked potato and corn on the cob. Is Lefty's the best restaurant in Addison? Absolutely, without a doubt. Is Lefty's the best restaurant in the DFW area? That's a little tougher to answer since you and I could spend the rest of our lives eating at every dining establishment in the surrounding area and probably become senile when it's time to crown a winner. Nice atmosphere to dine at. Great staff ask for Alejandro for that personal service. Been going to Lefty's for over 12 years.
The Lobster bisque with extra Lobster chunks in it is delish. But my favorite dish was the ahi tuna burger minus the bun and add the wasabi mayo yum!
