I would avoid this appraiser period. The guy showed up to my house and spent 15 minutes to appraise a 4200 sq foot house. He valued it low so I contacted local realtors and mortgage officers who immediately said the appraisal was low. After looking at the appraisal he had listed comps not even close to what my house is. In fact, after having realtors pull the actual comps the appraisal looked to be at a minimum 20k below it's actual value.
