My partner came late at night for a heart and stomach issue. When she got to the ER, 3/4 different people asked for her name and birthdate and continuously asked her “Why did you calls 911/EMS” after the EMS teamed clearly explained she was having heart burn and chest problems. One nurse said she was sending in a prescription and NEVER DID! She received 2 medications while there and only one worked. They seemed very careless and disregarded how she felt as a whole. Went to the emergency room with severe head pain. Doctors were excellent. When I was admitted to go upstairs, the nurses were also excellent. I could not ask for anything better thank you.
I have to admit I was super nervous coming here after seeing a lot of terrible reviews. However, I am from out of town and UF was the closest hospital. I wanted to make sure I input my experience. I was sick as a dog with a kidney stone. I have a high pain tolerance so walked in probably looking completely fine. They took my vitals right away and they took me back immediately, because my BP and HR were pretty elevated. Within 45 minutes I had an IV in, saw a PA and got pain and nausea medicine.
