My experience at this salon was extremely disappointing. This was my first time trying a place in Newport, as my trusted nail technician is in Florida and I am unable to travel for the next couple of months. I urgently needed a reliable service, but unfortunately, this was not it. I booked a pedicure and manicure, including acrylic nails. I can’t recommend Rita enough, she’s super detail oriented and I always leave with my nails looking perfect. The salon is always clean and super efficient when you book an appointment; the convenience of booking an appointment online is also a plus. I highly recommend Lee’s Nail Salon and Rita for providing consistent excellent service!
Rush Job! My last trip in Lee's Nails was disappointing. The man Rush through & did not give a good foot massage. He set the timer & showed me the minutes THEN set up for the massage. IMHO the massage begins when hands are on my feet, not when you bring out your wares & set up. I asked for stronger & he basically was so soft it felt like he was tickling my feet. Really disappointed. Other trips in were fine. But there is not consistency among staff. You get who you get.
I had a lemon pedicure service which price on the menu is $69 dollars but I have been requested to pay $89 dollars + tips. I am wondering why I had to pay $20 extra? Thank you
I’m giving this nail salon one star because of the service I received from a nail technician named Rita (or at least that’s the American name she gave me). I’m not from Newport, RI and was visiting the area, so I came to this salon hoping to have a good experience getting my nails done.
