RecommendedI had issues with over heating in my 56 Willys for a while. Took it to a number of places. Wasn't until I took it to Sterling Hot Rods, that it finally got fixed. Great atmosphere and a true pleasure to work with. Glad to recommend them to anyone who has a need to get something fixed on their custom ride or hot rod.
Be careful at this place. I was initially won over by all the classic cars I saw at the shop, thinking the claims on their website were legit. Now I think all the positive reviews were probably for minors repairs and not big jobs like they advertise. I had a big job and the mechanical side of the shop charged me double the initial estimate. They did lower their labor rate after I mentioned the significant underestimate but they just did additional work I did not request to make up the difference. I want to take time out to give a special Thanks to Sterling Hot Rod for the excellent work they did on my 72 corvette. It was really running rough and would not perform at high RPMs. They were very professional and unlike other shops, I was in constant touch with Scott, who was my customer service rep. Tom is a hech of a guy, 1st class act. His team and his shop is top notch. Military friendly, they give back to causes with out any notoriety (behind the scenes) and we surely are Blessed every time we've been in some kind of bind, they've been there for us to repair our classic truck with fair and reasonable prices.
