If a could give a negative star I would. Went to welcome my baby niece into the world and her mom was scheduled a c section at 10 am, its gonna be 5pm and she has yet to get a room after giving birth. They don't allow family or siblings in to see mom and new baby. The 400 pound front desk lady was rude and mean and offered zero help other than her constant scowls because the kids were getting restless and wanted to see their new baby sister. WAS HERE FOR OVER 2 WEEKS (HEART, CANCER, KIDNEYS, AND THEN SOME). DOCTORS AND NURSES ARE OUTSTANDING.
After reading all the patient complaints and generic administrative responses… this sounds like a terrible facility. Clearly, understaffed. I think I should cancel my procedure this month and move to a different hospital. I’ve only ever heard terrible stories about this hospital, which is a shame, because it looks beautiful on the outside. Go to Gulf Coast instead! Came to emergency room with chest pain. Been waiting in ER since 12:30 and it is now 5:30 and have no answer on how long it will be before Dr. sees me. They do keep coming around and checking my vital signs. Probably seeing if im still alive. This was my favorite hospital. Not any more.
We hope this review finds our nurse Sydnie and the staff in the labor and delivery department. My wife just gave birth and had the best team of professionals to help.
