I have been a long-standing customer of Lee Mechanical. Sadly, during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic, at a time when families were panic-stricken, and wondering if their jobs would be there tomorrow, Lee Mechanical used this as an opportunity to "TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PREVAILING ECONOMIC CONDITIONS." My neighbor told me he was having his lead water main replaced at no cost by the City Of Kenosha. I called the city and they told me the program ends in a month and if I wanted it done I need to move ASAP otherwise when the city mandates it in the future I'd have to pay out of pocket. They sent me forms and a list of pre approved contractors told me to get atleast one quote fill out and sign the form but I needed to do immediately. Our water heater stopped working and we called Lee Plumbing to get a quote for the repair (we already knew the part that needed to be replaced prior to making the call). Over the phone we were told the part would cost $45 plus labor which was $125/hour. The office representative stated that it would most likely take less than an hour to replace that part so we were expecting to pay $125+$45, roughly about $170 plus tax.
