EMS took my family member to Leduc ER and the ER took one quick look then just sent him out in the winter at 4 am, he had then became sicker, spent weeks in ICU at a better hospital due to this stupid hospital causing pneumonia
We have lots of health conditions that run in my family— so we have practically lived at these hospitals. 0 starts for Leduc hospital they always mask everything with meds instead of getting down to the root cause, and they are very ignorant (don’t choose this kind of profession if you’re just going to cause more problems) everytime anyone of my family members has left this hospital it was also unhappy and undealt with! Waiting time is ridiculous
The nurse working around late noon shift at the emergency triage front desk was incompetent, unprofessional and needs to be more empathetic to the patients coming up. She did not bother to book a blood test for more than an hour and repeatedly kept saying that she will only order a blood test if we agree to meet the doctor. We still agreed to stay as we were told waiting time is around 3 hrs but ended up staying there for 6+ hrs.It was only until when my condition worsened that she booked me a test. The nurses who are working today (may 22,2025) in triage and registration area both are very rude in a day shift. I do not know how hospital organization is hiring such kind of nurses. My husband has very bad stomach ache and he is doing vomiting continuously but triage nurse called the another guy first who came after us.
