I've been sick for about 2 and 1/2 3 weeks by the time I went in. A cold I had been fighting head managed its way into my chest. Green mucus and phlegm, and a lot of pain. I wasn't able to keep anything down, and everything exits quickly. Threw up twice and two bouts of diarrhea while I was waiting to be seen... And it still was not a priority. I came in to the er thursday at around 4am. The front desk was nice, but the nurse who did my Intake really needs to work on her people skills. I was borderline delusional in pain and my fiance answered most of her questions. One we got into the room she was just very rude to both us. The male nurse i had for most of my stay was very friendly, as were all the others. Help came quickly and they never told me no to more pain medications through iv fluid.
