I purchased 2 groupons for the most expensive package they have for my wife for her birthday. I scheduled her appointment weeks in advance. I took off work early and drove an hour and a half to the basement of a house in the middle of nowhere where they are now located. And they stood us up! The massage therapist was not there and we were told by a rude teenager that she wasn't coming. No explanation, no excuses, no consideration for our time; she just told us to call Groupon for a refund.

For several years I have given my wife a Spa treatment at Spa de la Vie. Each visit has been exceptional, from appointment to service. I too started with a Groupon and am sorry to see some folks had a problem. You do realize that Groupon guarantees their coupons and will give you your money back? Maybe not. Anyway, Kelley hasn't disappointed us yet.

I myself have had some frustrations with scheduling appointments, but since the relocation to Asheville, I've had no worries. Kelley is amazing. Every time I've gotten a massage from her, its been nothing but top notch. Its the best deep tissue massages I've ever received. Give her another try. You won't be disappointed.

It's not worth the hassle. We had a Groupon for a package deal, tried to make reservations, couldn't do it before certificate expired. They made it for 4/26/2013 and honored the Groupon. They were about 10 to 15 minutes late to open and be there for a 10am reservation. The massage was Ok and most stuff was alright until it came to the tub soak. They had my wife get in the tub with about 4 to 5 inches of water and they kept filling it up. She couldn't relax and listen to the music during this time. When there was enough water... read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This spa has horrible customer service. It took me months to make an appointment and one my appointment date nobody was even there. No apology no nothing. I bought the massage through Groupon so the service had already been paid for. The "manager" refused to give me a refund and said I would have to get the massage. Then for no reason she threatens to call the police..I was not raising my voice, didn't threaten anyone. This place is a joke and a bunch of scam artist. I am a local resident. I frequent Spas in Region 2 times monthly. This Spa is my favourite. Kelly, the MT has definetly got a Divine Touch. She found every knot without me telling her where I hurt. Even was able to do Kenisio Taping on a my hand where I had surgery, which greately helped reduce the swelling.... Very Very beautiful decor and peaceful atmosphere. My favorite. Cynthia

I have been in every Spa in Asheville. Literally. I have stress related muscular problems, and the only relief is from massage. This spa is awesome. The Therapist are very knowlegable. The Spa is absouletly hands down, the nicest spa in the Asheville Area. I have been to the Grove Park Inn, and their spa, (pools are beautiful) but their treatment rooms, and the environment are no where close to this spa.
