Absolutely nothing has changed from LEAP in the 5 months since John Sheard posted his review - this has been basically word-for-word identical to our experience: "I attempted to cancel LEAP during what I understood to be the trial period after it became clear the software wasn't suitable for my practice. Total misleading company, useless software and their customer service is a waste of time and do not know how to fix issues. Do not recommend at all!
Misleading Trial Period and Poor Software Performance I attempted to cancel LEAP during what I understood to be the trial period after it became clear the software wasn't suitable for my practice. I signed up in July 2024, and started working with the software through onboarding that August. We have spent 3 years with this company. Unfortunately, their customer service has remained unsatisfactory throughout the years and the product is not what the sales team had advised it would be (i.e. not all features that we counted on and wanted to implement actually worked as expected). Price hikes without any loyalty appreciation were also unfortunate. As a result, after 3 years with LEAP, we are switching over to a competitor.
The LEAP software has improved over the years, but still presents challenges to end users looking for (a) basic document management functionality, such as the ability to "drag and drop" documents, export more than 100 documents at a time, etc., and (b) stable and reliable performance. Stability is compromised by the "plugin" approach to Microsoft Office integration, not entirely LEAP's fault as Microsoft does update its software frequently, which can break plug-ins, and it may be that a limitation of the "plugin" approach is... read more
