There are plenty of coffee shops I could frequent, but I chose this one because it is beautiful, has ambience and character. The staff are engaging, warm and friendly and if you have the time and inclination their cakes, biscuits, sandwiches (with vegetarian options) is worth exploring. Delicious 😋 is an understatement. On occasion, I deliberately miss my train just to stay in this friendly place.
The best coffee in London in the best and unique community space and cafe of all London rail stations, bar none! Built entirely by carpenter visionary leaseholder Laura. What a joy this place is. Network Rail and GTR should pull out all the stops to help Laura keep this going for the good of the community, whose tone and atmosphere have been elevated by its presence. Laura has even set up plant boxes containing herbs that she has invited passers-by to pick and she has built outdoor sitting spaces too.
My perfect nook. A place that exists in the space between things. Good coffee. Great atmosphere. Recommended for writing and thinking and gentleness.
Very lovely staff! Excellent customer experience and delicious coffee!! On cold days, both the coffee and the cozy atmosphere warm you up. Whenever my train is delayed or I arrive at the station early, I always grab a takeaway coffee. The coffee is really fresh! I really like this cafe’s vibe.
