Everything everyone is saying about the sales technique is true. High pressure to sign on the spot, price keeps dropping with every no. Only after did I realize we were negotiating his commission. The product has performed well and been working for several years. Recently I have had a tree damage the installed material and I asked for repairs to be completed. A date was arranged roughly 4 weeks out. At arrival the technician did not have the ladder necessary to perform the repair. Instead a quote was mailed a week later. I called immediately and 2 additional times but after 3 weeks I still can not get anyone to return the call and make an appointment. Thus lifetime service is meaningless.
Very rude staff. A guy named Jeff came to my house. I asked him to write me a quote to show me the price with or without gutter guards, he said their company just does the work one way. He then told me that I will understand when I see the price (was the highest quote among 5 quotes I received). He was shocked and nearly offended I never heard of their company, told me “you don’t watch television, do ya?” I said I do watch TV just never heard of Leaf Filter. I was told leaf filter would come with a lifetime guarantee on preventing clogged gutters and that any debris that would land on top of the filter would just blow right off. After having these for three years now I can say this is not true. The seeds and debris falling from trees pile up on top of the filters and prevent the water from going into the gutters and start growing from the filters themselves.
