To start, I have been to many luxury hotel spas all over the world & never had this bad of an experience. The man who did my massage, Chris, gave the worst massage I have ever had. His fingers were so dry & rough that they scratched. Also, it genuinely felt like this was the first massage he had ever given. Updated 2/23/26: This is an updated review from my previous experience. I spoke with there GM, who was very professional, apologetics, and courteous. He offered us the opportunity to come back to enjoy a better experience and it did not disappoint. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a polished team of receptionists upfront, whom kindly escorted to our lockers and tour the space. Went here this morning for a couples massage and have never been so disappointed. This spa is beautiful but that was by far the worst massage I have ever had. It is definitely not cheap so I would expect the massage therapist to know how to give a massage. Did not even rub my back! So disappointing
I was nervous about our massage bookings given the reviews, but my husband and I both had a great experience with Blanca and Byrd! Surprisingly better than both Chuan Spa and the spa at Waldorf Astoria. Would go back!
