We booked a week through a third-party. Unit 127 was clean and well-equipped, and very convenient to the pool areas. The complex seemed mainly occupied by owners and was quiet, clean, and comfortable. (And I am picky about cleanliness.) The saltwater pool right by the ocean is great. The location is very close to the Kona town area, and there are a couple beaches within a five minute drive. There also are coolers and beach chairs in the unit that you can use. The room was okay. The linens in 224 were definitely clean and smelled wonderful, and we are truly thankful for that, but unfortunately, the shower area had mold and debris in the bottom corners and the shower pan was grungy, molding surrounding the mopboards had dirt and sand, and walls need a little cleaning. The light from the elevator makes it very hard to sleep because it's very bright with no blackout curtains. The property is private condominium and only four rooms are used for as short turn rental.|First generation of condominium with thoughtful building, garden, and pool design so that you can view the ocean from most of the rooms, yet facilities are maintained really well. It is very close to Ali Drive main area, Kailua Harbor, Magic Sand Beach and supermarkets / restaurants. The place was clean. People who helped us move in were very nice. A little small and no washer/dryer in unit. We knew this before booking the room. It's just more convenient to have it in the room. Parking was very limited. Half the nights we parked outside the gated area. Overall, it was a good week for us.
