great stop Love the food here, but also love what they do on random evenings with artists playing and cuban music. Taps and sangria. Fun. Even a great dog friendly place.
Le Papagayo Rocks! I love Papagayo. It has a relaxed, Carribean feel to it. The live music is great. The food is excellent---my favorite appetizer is the macadamian nut calamari is amazing. The Thai mussels...incredible!! The French influence combined with the island flavor is superb! I highly recommend it.
Le Papagayo is Dynamite! Excellent Food! Great Music! Happy Hour Tuesdays are Awesome. Try the Calamari and seafood dynamite! I've tried at least half the menu and can't wait to try the rest!
Our Thursday night girls' spot! Fun! Thursday nights are 4.50 sangrias. MM, very good. Appetizers are pretty darn good, calamari, different kinds of flavored mussels exquisite. Tacos are great! duck, calamari, mahi, you name it, they serve it and they are GREAT. Live music and seating outside on patio. Only minus is the crowd, small space that gets packed early, so come early or make reservations b/c there will only be standing room avail. after 8 or 9 on busy nights. Love to come here with my girlfriends for sangria night!!
A Leucadian Treat I shouldn't say how much I like this restaurant since it tends to get crowded now on weekends. But oh well. It's a great restaurant. The food's delicious and not super expensive. And the atmosphere is warm and bright. They've also furnished their outdoor patio area which I always wondered why they would leave empty before since it's so nice to eat outside.
