Established over two decades ago, Le Panier offers a little taste of France while being conveniently located at Pike Place Market in Seattle. The bakery follows traditional French recipes and uses fresh ingredients in order to provide an authentic French experience. All the products are baked fresh daily in order to ensure quality. Le Panier is the closest you can get to a traditional boulangerie without boarding a plane to France.

Mmmmmmm Yes, this place is a definite must try. I have never found it too busy, at least it is worth any wait. You can get out cheap too - stop in for a break from the Market tourist crowds!
Gourmande The pastries and bread found at Le Panier take me back to my younger years when I lived in France. Their pain au chocolat are as light yet decadent as the ones I loved when I was a student in Lyon. I highly recommend making a trip there.
The Best Le Panier is a "must visit" everytime I'm in Seattle. My sister & I live in Idaho and whenever one of us goes to Seattle, we always bring back goodies for the other one!
French Bakery, Pastries and Coffee A little piece of France right in the middle of Pike Place! Baked goods and pastries are phenomanal. Try the sandwiches on fresh backed baguette with delicious choices like Pate or Brie cheese. If you like coffee - this is the BEST! The espresso drinks are by far the best I've had anywhere ever. Try a cafe au lait. It's tres magnifique! A little bit busy on weekends, it's a small little place, so you might have to wade through the crowd a little. PROS: Quality CONS: crowded
Yummy! I loved their pastries and coffee. The stuff was very nice. The best part was that there was enough room to park my double stroller in the store!!! I would go back again for sure.
a "Very French" bakery Le Panier is a French-style bakery in Seattle where you can get some very good bread. They have some specialties like 'pain aux noix' which is bread with walnuts in it, and multi-grain French bread, etc. They bake their breads every day, so you can always get fresh bread, too. The location is right downtown.
