Our fave spot for brunch with the kids, and always spacious enough to bring along family and friends. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed, making it easy to enjoy a meal as a family. So I’ve been coming here for years, it used to be a bit of a treat for our family, but it has recently become an unpleasant experience, with slow, inattentive service, with the radio blasting out from the kitchen. We had to ask twice for coffee (one of which arrived lukewarm), then for salt and pepper, then for jam for the bread, and then we waited and waited for the check. I went there for brunch with my friend. We love this place so much. Food was so lovely and delicious and the service was amazing.
Who doesn't believe in love at first sight!? Today was my very first visit to this welcoming, warm and sophisticated Le Pain Quotiden. Staff went above and beyond. I'm somewhat shy, came in around lunch. Amanda made me feel extra comfortable & told me to ask Jorge for his favorite suggestion. They did not disappoint! I can’t say that our experience here was anything beyond mediocre, mostly because the unpleasantness could have been easily avoided. While the food was alright, the staff were consistently inattentive throughout our visit despite a small amount of customers. Our meals arrived cold and took much longer than they should’ve, and our drinks only came out after an absurdly lengthy period of walking up to the counter several times and ultimately having to fetch them ourselves while our server disappeared for a half hour.
