Dr Shimony was my daughters surgeon he has been the greatest and has called and or came by to check on my daughter everyday since her surgery and talked me through everything and answered every single question I had!! By far the best people I have ever had the pleasure of coming in to contact with since my daughter has been here we got exceptional care while we where in PICU we had two nurses that went over the top amazing and would even come back to check on my daughter even if they wasn’t her nurse . Im giving two stars rather than one because the doctors and nurses there are absolutely wonderful. Bedside manner is amazing. I've had to take my son there three times. Each time, the wait was something like 8 hours. Waiting that long with ANY child, especially a sick or hurting child, would probably be challenging for any parent, but throw into the mix having to wait that long with a severely autistic child and that can be really hard. Not to mention a packed waiting room where exposure to illness is extremely high. On top ... read more
My son had to stay on the 7th floor for several days and I can not express enough how amazing the doctors, the nurses, the lunch staff, the cleaning ladies. Here they listen to the patient and to the parents. The nurses are the sweetest people ever. They even allowed my son to do bible studies with them. This hospital also does so much every day for the kids to make being in the hospital not so scary. I have never been to hospital that is as good as this one! VERY SLOW, we have been here since 4:00pm and we are still here in the emergency room at 8:30pm and still have not been told anything else since we first arrived. I just asked if we could get some food because we haven't ate all day, because we was transferred from Jonesboro Arkansas hospital this morning and they said not until they get the okay. Then I asked for a blanket because it was cold and still haven't received it.🥶😡
