Scammed me out of "Labor, Fees, & indoor storage" 🤣...Then charged me $1200 after they said it would be $400 flat fee. After I paid it, I came to pick it up a few months later, & Gallons of water poured out, & off of my boat from it being stored OUTSIDE from ice & snow melting...
I purchased a boat early this summer on Craigslist from a man who was a customer of L&D Mobile Marine. I was assured by the seller and by L&D that the motor was in tip top shape and that the only thing I needed to do (as I am new to boat ownership) was to simply turn the key and it will run just fine. Hired L&D to move my pontoon boat from one lake to another. They did not secure the mooring ropes and were apparently dragging them through the water, when the driver put the boat in reverse the rope got stuck in the prop breaking the housing behind the prop ($250 part) as well as breaking the fuel filter when the rope snapped around. They immediately said we will take it back to the shop and replace fuel filter which they did.
