Scammed me out of "Labor, Fees, & indoor storage" 🤣...Then charged me $1200 after they said it would be $400 flat fee. After I paid it, I came to pick it up a few months later, & Gallons of water poured out, & off of my boat from it being stored OUTSIDE from ice & snow melting...
I purchased a boat early this summer on Craigslist from a man who was a customer of L&D Mobile Marine. I was assured by the seller and by L&D that the motor was in tip top shape and that the only thing I needed to do (as I am new to boat ownership) was to simply turn the key and it will run just fine. Before I bought the boat, I was told that the motor had to be replaced or partially replaced because water got into the motor over the winter (I don't know where it was stored but assume it was L&D).
