I received LASIKplus in January 2022 at the ******** location to treat my nearsightedness and astigmatism. The technicians at LASIKplus walked me through the process during my initial consultation and let me know that the procedure was not painful, often resulted in minimal discomfort and offered a fast recovery. 8 years after the procedure I realized I needed an enhancement. I could see more clearly and read signs further away when wearing my friends glasses. I got an eye exam by a third party which confirmed as much. When I went in to LasikPlus in Brooklyn however, the eye exam claimed I had 20/20 vision. I could not read all the letters, but they had me guess a few times until I got them right. The letters were very blurry. They promised I would be able to read still from the podium because I speak publicly. I was blurry from day one and I cannot read 16pt font or less from any distance without glasses. I paid $3,400, including extra for free corrections. I called, left voicemails, emailed and no responses. I have emails and phone logs.
they offer a lifetime guarantee option.it has more loop holes than you would believe.they refused to redo a procedure for me.their doctor said the reason was the start of age related cataracts.their knowledgable doctor also stated age related cataracts start at 45 years of age.their staff pressured me into purchasing the lifetime option at age 50.how ethical is it,selling a lifetime option, they already know they have no plans to honor?they never did show me any paperwork explaining anything.my paperwork shows vision option ... read more
LasikPlus in Plano, TX asks people to write a 5-star Google review on their way out. I'm not kidding. They give you a free T-shirt for showing them your review. Getting LASIK from this location is scary because Dr. S**** rushes people through like an assembly line. I had LASIK with Dr. S**** in Nov 2018. It didn't work. After 14 months of follow-ups they offered to redo it. I had a revision in Jan 2020. I'm glad they fixed it. But this business is not ethical. You don't get to talk to Dr. S**** until you're literally walking... read more
Not happy with pricing because they give you some lame reason to charge you the maximum and having to wait so long for procedure. If my appointment is at 10:30, I expect to be waited on within a timely manner- not 2 hours!!!!!
I got my Lasik done in February 2019. Until that point, I had literally never used eye drops in my 33 years. Six months post Lasik, I still have many nights I’m woken from my sleep because my eyes are so dry it’s painful. When I had a painful issue a few months ago, the Dr said my cornea was “roughed up pretty well” & put a contact on it to let it heal.
