While I was moving out they really pissed me off by insisting on doing apartment tours as I was packing my stuff up. But in retrospect they were great landlords. They respond promptly to maintenance requests and emails, they charge very reasonable rent rates, and they were very fair overall - which is uncommon in a city like this.
I rented with LC Lemle for just over a year in one of their Kips Bay buildings and couldn't have had a better experience. Very responsive, reasonable rent increase, and great apartment at a fair price (for NYC). Highly, highly recommend.
They do not run in the heat in any of their buildings. I have complained several times about the temperature of my apartment - which at this point, I'm not even sure is legal. Management tries to save money on heat at the expense of renters and its extremely frustrating.
