This is my favorite motel! The staff are so very friendly, the rooms are always super clean, everything you need at your finger tips, the beds are so comfortable, I stayed on the 24th of April 2017, then on my way home stayed again on may 18th 2017. I highly recommend the Lazy U Motel if your visiting the Rapid city area. I would give it 10 star's if I could!!! Wish there would have been more motels like this one on my month's vacation! These people know how to run a motel at a very reasonable price!!!

I wish I could find motels like this in every town on my travels. The rooms are basic, simple, and inexpensive. Everything you need, nothing you don't. More importantly, they are absolutely spotlessly clean. The rooms are very quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the proprietors are the nicest folks on the planet. It is also motorcycle friendly with an assigned parking spot in front of your door. The Lazy U will always be this riders go-to Motel when returning to the Black Hills.
Stayed here last week. Was extremely pleased. The family owned staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean. They had coffee and lemonade plus pastries for breakfast. I would tell my friends and family about this motel. It was located around restaurants and easy access to the highways. Would definitely stay here again! Loved it ☺

We stayed here two nights on our vacation from Texas, and we found everything clean and fresh. The people in the office were great and very helpful. I will 5- star this as one of my favorite places to stay. Thanks to the man and lady running the motel. We had a very pleasant stay @ a reasonable price. There is also a very good restaurant close by,
by far the best place we stayed on our 2200 mile trip,loved that we could park right in front of our room,very clean,very nice and helpful people!
